Can you figure out the terminal airport in my banner? With the number of Air France (AF) planes, you can easily say it’s Charles de Gaulle (IATA: CDG) airport of Paris, France.
Yes, it is! It was a long, unexpected and unplanned layover. I’ll post the story soon.
At the center is an Air France Boeing 744 taxiing for departure. It’s flanked by several other Air France buddies, Air Canada, American Airlines, Delta, Gulf Air and later in the afternoon Emirates A380 will be parking on the right. This is the series of photos before that:

Why use this for a banner? Simply because it sums up the experience of flying…and the good and not so good side of it. For me, it’s mostly good. What people would consider a lengthy and boring layover is a delight for me. So you see, it’s not really how bad the situation you’re into. It’s what you do out of that situation. It’s how you see things that matters more.
