I planned to have myself seated where I can have a good view of the vast Pacific ocean. But I changed my mind. Why, Qantas A380 is sitting right there at the Lufthansa Technik hangar. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for me to snap a shot! But again, I changed my mind. Upon boarding, I found out I was seated beside a fine old lady flying to New York-JFK. The nuggets of insight I get out of the conversation far surpass the photos I could get of the A380 or the views I can have of the Pacific! I am glad I decided to set aside my selfish pursuits.

This trip is a journey of many choices – of the fleeting and permanent, of what matters and what is futile, of what seems right and what is not. Despite making the right choices early on, so far, I think I am not making the right choices since I arrived.
I hope I have time to make up…before the journey ends…here at one of the most unusual places on earth – Ulaanbaatar, Mongola.
Soon…
